Story House started because we're passionate about the moments that matter most to people. Moving is one of them. And we wanted to be the kind of company that honors that, not just by showing up with clean totes and a hand dolly, but by genuinely caring about the experience of the person on the other side of the door.
We're locally rooted in the DFW area, built by someone who believes that the little things, reliable service, a friendly voice, one less thing to worry about, all add up to something meaningful when you're in the middle of a big life moment.

Simple — book your package online or by phone, choose your delivery date, and we bring clean totes straight to your door. When you're done unpacking, we come collect everything. No trips to the store, no breaking down boxes, no recycling run.

Every package includes a 14-day base rental — plenty of time to pack, move, and settle in. Need more time? Just reach out before your return date and we'll get you an extension.

Your totes, clean and sanitized, plus hand dollies — 1 dolly with The Bookmark and The Chapter, 2 dollies with The Volume and The Archive. Delivery and pickup are included within Kaufman County.

Yes — we serve the DFW metroplex and Rockwall Counties as well. Additional delivery charges may apply depending on your location. Contact us and we'll give you a quick quote.

Normal wear and tear is expected and never charged. If something is lost or damaged beyond normal use, replacement fees apply — outlined in your rental agreement at booking. We photograph everything at delivery and pickup so there's never any guesswork.
